WPI Winter Percussion is an entirely student run program, made up of about 20 students, that performs competitively throughout New England in the NESBA winter percussion circuit.
Our show for this year is called Excalibur. It’s a retelling of King Arthur’s rise to the throne via the sword in the stone. It will feature a blend of classical music with popular songs from the band "The Oh Hellos" merged into one 7 minute performance that's entirely memorized.
As the winter percussion season comes to an end it is evident that it was made possible through our generous donors.
We traveled to an exhibition performance that we hadn’t originally planned on because of all of the funds we raised. We made our most ambitious props to date. We competed at the NESBA Winter Percussion finals and came in first place with a score of 80.45. We were able to have an incredibly fun and rewarding season.

It wouldn’t have been possible to accomplish everything we did this year without the support our community. From everyone at WPI Winter Percussion, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This has been an astounding season because of people like you.

Your donation has helped us begin constructing our props for this year’s show. We have officially learned a quarter of this year’s show already. Our crunch time is rapidly approaching where we will learn about half of the show over the course of a few days, then proceed to refine that over the course of the coming weeks.
We can’t wait to share our journey throughout the season. Thank you again for your support.
