The continued support is truly humbling and very much appreciated; the support further motivates our student athletes and highlights the honor and privilege of representing WPI.
Our team goal each year is to earn a spot in the Conference playoffs, win the NEWMAC Tournament and regular season NEWMAC Title. We are so proud to have claimed our second NEWMAC Tournament Championship this year! This propelled us to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2019!
To continue to have successful seasons like this one, we need your support. The extra funding really helps with team travel, team meals and team activities. This support brings the team closer together which helps us achieve our goals!
Meet Franco Bazzini ’23 G’24:
“The team helped me become a better student by helping me improve my time management and discipline, but it also acted as a supportive network, providing a sense of camaraderie and encouragement throughout my academic journey. The team has become a family to me and has been supportive in many aspects of my college career and also mental health.
I hope to leverage my WPI education to make a positive impact in the world by applying the knowledge, skills, and values I've gained to address real-world challenges. Whether it's through innovative research, contributing to sustainable technologies, or engaging in community-focused projects, I aim to be a catalyst for change.”
