It is important to us to honor the alumni and recognize the legacy they have left while continuing to build off their success and striving to provide more resources and opportunities for our present and future athletes. Your support means more to us than you may know!
Each season, our goals are to continue our growth as individuals, a team, and a program with a focus on team first, accountability, competition, and support.
To compete at a high level and challenge ourselves in our strength of schedule by playing teams in the top 20 of the country. To compete for the NEWMAC championship. For our graduating leaders to always leave the program better than how they found it and to get them to stay involved as alumni.
We use a lot of technology and film as a resource for our players to continue to grow their knowledge and transfer that over to our game play. To continue growth in that area, we would invest in a second iPad for on field game analysis, recruiting, and live coding for film sessions. We would also like to purchase a mac book to support new and better technology for analysis and video breakdown.
We are looking for your help to continue to grow as a program and give our student-athletes the best possible overall experience.
Your support will go to supplementing our coaching staff, travel suits and practice gear, and upgrading our in-game and post-game video analysis.
Meet Nikki Espeland ’23 G ‘24:
“My team is my support system. I am from Virginia, so when I first came to WPI I didn’t know anyone. From day one they’ve been the people I could talk to, rely on, and connect with. We’re also always pushing each other to get better, whether that’s on the field, in the classroom, or trying new things and growing as individuals.
In terms of my career, I plan on developing software to make smarter and more helpful robots available. Outside of that, I am going to mentor a high school robotics team. I was lucky enough to have a mentor who put in the time and effort to teach me, and I would love to be able to pass that experience on along with all the knowledge I have gained from studying at WPI.”
